December News

Nationally, a major barrier for cancer patients to receive or complete their cancer treatment is transportation. In Northwest Arkansas, there can be the same barrier. Hope Cancer Resources provides free transportation to ensure access to care for cancer patients in our region. Because access is a major barrier to cancer care, our Patient Transportation Program is a lifeline to treatment. For patients who do not have the resources or are physically unable to drive themselves to treatment, Hope Cancer Resources is able to help.Transportation Quote

All of the drivers were very friendly and helpful. I don’t know how I would have been able to get to my radiation treatments without your service. Thank you so much and God bless you.

As a retired pastor, I wanted to find something I could do to continue my ministry, and this fit the bill. I love meeting all the patients – it seems like new ones every week, which is sad in a way, but I love doing it. I love trying to relieve some of the stress on the families of cancer patients.

What I enjoy most about driving is the chance to bring a smile and good conversation to a patient that might be living alone, a diversion to what they are experiencing. It is the most rewarding job I have ever had!
