We are excited to introduce our 2017 Distinguished Models!
Matt Akins
Matt Akins is a Mortgage Loan Officer with Arvest Bank in Fayetteville. He began his
career at Arvest after he graduated from the University of Arkansas with a
Personal Financial Management degree. Matt joined the Hope Cancer Resources
Board of Directors in 2017. He also volunteers with CCOA to teach financing for
first-time homebuyers.
Matt continues to enjoy playing basketball and
tennis. Matt and his wife, Kate, have two children. He helps coach every sport
they play. Needless to say, he loves sports. He was the mascot for the NWA
Naturals for two years.
Matt walks in honor of his mother, Susan Akins, a vocal-chord cancer survivor.

Alan Altom
Alan Altom serves on the Board of Directors for
Hope Cancer Resources. Alan graduated from the University of Arkansas and
earned a BA in Sociology and a Master’s in Business Administration. He is the
owner and partner of AB Martin Services and One Seventeen Create. AB Martin Services, Inc. (ABMS) is a medical equipment and supplies
distributor to the Department of Veterans Affairs, DOD, and other Federal
Government Agencies. One
Seventeen Create is a Private Communal Art Studio for local professional
artists to create, work and share their talents. The studio is located in
the heart of Downtown Springdale at 117 W. Emma Ave.
Alan also serves on the Board of Trustees at Springdale First United
Methodist Church and volunteers as a coach. He served twelve years in the United
States Marine Corp. He and his wife, Carol, have two boys. They enjoy traveling
as a family, enjoying anything outdoors, visiting over 18 National Parks and
monuments.

Barry Baggett
Barry Baggett is a graduate from Harding
University. He has a B.A. in Communications. Barry is the Senior Marketing
Manager at America’s Car-Mart. He
received the America’s Car-Mart President’s Award I 2010 and the Pacesetter
Award twice. Most recently, he was presented with a 25 Years of Service Award.
Barry enjoys bicycling, playing golf and frisbee
golf. He most enjoys spending time with the love of his life, Tricia, and their
daughter Gwyneth Rose.
Barry loves to travel and started planning his
family vacations at the age of 13. He is still planning vacations, many of them
several years in advance.
He is modeling in honor of America’s Car-Mart
and Founder Bill Fleeman.

Joe Bebout
Joe Bebout was Associate Director of Clinical
Trial Procurement with Abbott Laboratories before retiring after a 25-year
career. While at Abbott he worked at
various levels in the company and across multiple areas in pharmaceutical
development, including manufacturing, engineering, product support and
purchasing. He and his wife Teresa
retired from corporate life and relocated to Northwest Arkansas from the
suburbs of Chicago to pursue personal interests and an active retirement.
Joe enjoys spending time with his 2 year old
grandson, pheasant and quail hunting, golf, Blues music and traveling. He also began raising miniature Herefords in
2014. Joe is a Hope Cancer Resources
volunteer. He also volunteers as a
special advocate for abused and neglected children in Northwest Arkansas.
Joe models in memory of his wife, Teresa, who
fought gastric cancer heroically for two and a half years before she passed
away in May 2015 and for Larry Daniel who passed away in 2012 after two years
with pancreatic cancer.

Drew Devenport
Drew Devenport was raised in Kansas City,
Missouri. He graduated from Rockhurst University with a Bachelor of Arts in
Political Science and Business Administration. In 2012, he received his Juris
Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law. In law school, he served
as both a student-attorney and research assistant in the Immigration Clinic.
Since his graduation from law school, Drew has concentrated on representing
clients on a wide variety of immigration issues, ranging from family-based
immigration applications to representing clients in the Immigration Court
located throughout the United States.
Drew and his wife, Kat, enjoy barbecuing,
supporting the Razorbacks and exploring the Razorback Greenway Trails with
their two dogs, Izzy and Cole. In 2017, he received the 2017 Community Leader
Award from the Northwest Arkansas Worker’s Justice Center where he is a
volunteer. He also volunteers with Ozark Indivisible, the Northwest Arkansas
Natural Dreamers and Arkansas United Community Coalition. Drew models in honor
of his dad, Kent Devenport, diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and in remission for
3 years.

Simeon Jaggernauth, MD
Dr. Jaggernauth (aka Dr. Jag) earned his
doctorate in medicine from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences
College of Medicine. He then completed an internship at OSU Medical Center, his
internal medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma, and a subspecialty
fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr.
Jag is an allopathic board certified Medical Oncologist and Internal Medicine
physician by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). He is also board
certified in Mechanical Engineering by the American Society of Mechanical
Engineering (ASME). He worked in research and development prior to becoming a
physician and co-invented several systems for water emulsion and solid particle
detection counters for high pressure hydraulic systems used by Union Pacific
Railroads® and NASA®.
Prior to joining Landmark Cancer Center in 2016,
Dr. Jag was part of the MD Anderson Affiliated Network in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He
also serves as a medical consultant on the scientific advisory board of several
biotech companies including Genentech, General Electric Healthcare,
Bristol-Myers Squibb, Celgene, and NovoCure. He is the Founder and Chairman of
the non-profit organization, the H8 Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Jag loves spending time with his wife of over 25 years and their four children. He also enjoys playing video games with his kids, wake surfing, running, making movies with his drones, and high speed racing.

Clifton Janes
Clifton Janes is a Customer Service Manager for
Transplace Logistics where he has worked for over 15 years. Prior to his
current position, Clifton was also a Logistics Analyst and Operations Manager
at Transplace.
Clifton grew up in Farmington and currently
lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Lindy. He is a graduate of the University
of Arkansas. Clifton collects and restores classic cars and loves spending time
with family and friends.

Mark Kelley
Mark Kelley is a Customer Sales Executive with
The Hershey Company, the sweetest company on earth. He has a degree in
Communications from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of
South Florida in Business Marketing and Sustainable Enterprise. Mark is a strong
advocate for Downtown Rogers, where he lives and renovates historical homes in
his spare time.
Mark enjoys house flipping, running, traveling,
and biking. He can often be seen on the trail system in Northwest Arkansas. He
has volunteered for the NWA Children’s Shelter and the NWA Food Bank, and has
previously served on our Gentlemen of Distinction event committee and in 2014
was the silent auction chairman.
Mark will walk the runway in honor of his late
mother, Wanda Kelley, who passed away from cancer at the age of 51 and for his
grandfather Harold Kelley, who also passed away from cancer.

Juan Lombeida, MD
Juan Lombeida is the Supportive Care Provider at
Highlands Oncology Group focusing on symptom management, patient and family
education, and treatment support. He graduated from the University of Arkansas
for Medical Sciences, at Little Rock, in 2003 and completed his fellowship in
palliative care at UAMS in 2016. Dr. Lombeida is board certified in internal
medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the
American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine (AAMPH).
Dr. Lombeida and his wife Heather have four
daughters, ages 7 – 13. He enjoys running and spending time with his family. He
models in honor of his mother, Eulalia Granez.

Jonathan McNair
Jonathan McNair is the Assistant Chief Financial
Officer for First Western Bank in Rogers. Jonathan received a Business Finance
/ Investment Management degree from the University of Arkansas. He is currently
in graduate school at Barret School of Banking. Jonathan has served as a board
member for Arkansas Early Learning/National Head Start Association and as the
Legacy Workgroup Chair for the NWA Emerging Leaders.
Jonathan and his wife, Jessica, have two dogs, Max and Zoey. He enjoys woodworking, playing golf and hunting. Jonathan models in memory of his grandfather and uncle and in honor of his father and grandmother who are both cancer survivors.

Sach Oliver
Sach Oliver is a trial lawyer and partner with
the Bailey & Oliver Law Firm in Rogers, Arkansas. The Bailey & Oliver
Law Firm has a regional practice focusing exclusively on catastrophic injury
and death cases. His role on the team involves litigation strategy,
depositions, negotiations, and all aspects of the trial. Sach recently received
the 2015 Outstanding Trial Lawyer award from the Arkansas Trial Lawyers
Association. He has been a guest speaker for American Association for Justice
and numerous other conventions throughout the U.S.
Sach gives back to his community by volunteering
as an auctioneer for various local charity events and to date has helped raise
over two million dollars for Northwest Arkansas charities. His first experience
as an auctioneer was for our Gentlemen of Distinction Gala.
Sach and his wife Codi have two young girls, Reesa and Reagan and enjoys life away from the office with his family on their cattle and horse ranch in beautiful Northwest Arkansas.

Jason Orlicek
Jason Orlicek is a Senior Vice President of
Lending with Signature Bank of Arkansas. He began working at Signature Bank of
Arkansas in 2013 and has over 11 years of banking experience. He is a graduate
of Arkansas Tech University, the Arkansas Bankers Association's Commercial
School of Lending and the Graduate Lending School at SMU. Jason is a member of
the Rogers Rotary Club and was a graduate of the Leadership Benton County class
of 2013-2014.
Jason models to honor his father-law, Jeff Nowka, and his grandparents George and Kathryn Orlicek and Leo Erman, all who lost
their battles to cancer. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife
Jessica and their sons Kade, Luke and Brooks. He also enjoys golfing and
anything Razorbacks.

Mitch Padgett
Mitch Padgett is a pharmacist at Harps. He
received his undergraduate in biochemistry in 3 years at the University of
Arkansas. He has his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences. He has been a pharmacist at Harps for seven years where he
received the Harps Pharmacy Regional Pharmacy of the Year in 2014, 2015 and
2016.
Mitch enjoys golf, traveling, spending time with
his family and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. He and his wife, Amanda, are
expecting their first child, a baby girl in November.
Mitch models in honor of his grandfather, Bert Padgett, a
cancer survivor and in memory of his grandmother-in-law, Nancy Haguewood, who
passed away in 2015.

Luke Parsons
Luke Parsons is a Vice President of Commercial
Lending at Legacy National Bank. He graduated from the University of Arkansas
with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance. Luke volunteers for the Downtown
Springdale Alliance, WorkMatters Institute in Rogers and is the finance
director and a deacon at The Hill Church in Fayetteville.
Luke is a Springdale native. In his free time,
he is working on his beef cattle ranch. When not tending to the farm, he is
usually enjoying one of the many outdoor activities in Northwest Arkansas. He enjoys whitewater paddling, fly fishing,
backcountry hiking and spending time with his family and friends on Beaver
Lake.
Luke was a senior in high school when his mom,
Robyn, passed away after a six year battle with cancer. He and his family
experienced first-hand the kind of care and guidance provided by Hope Cancer
Resources. Luke models in memory of his mom and his desire to support the work
of Hope Cancer Resources for other families in our area.

Gannon Randolph, MD
Gannon Randolph is the Director of the NWA Spine
Program at Mercy Hospital in Northwest Arkansas. He graduated Summa Cum Laude
from the University of Oregon and Magna Cum Laude from the Oregon Health
Science University School of Medicine. Dr. Randolph served as the
Administrative Chief Resident in the Department of Orthopedics at the
University of Utah Health Sciences Center and completed a Fellowship in Spinal
Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles, Department of Orthopedics.
Dr. Randolph served in the United Stated Army
Infantry with the Berlin Brigade C Co 5 / 502 Infantry. He also served in
Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom with the United States Army
Reserve Medical Corp and was Honorably Discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Dr. Randolph and his wife, Barbara Bess, MD,
have two children. He enjoys road and mountain biking (even has a mountain bike
jump course in his back yard), being a great dad, skiing, hunting, sailing, shooting sports, dog training, and bourbon drinking with his wife and friends.
Dr. Randolph models in honor of his mom, Karen
Randolph, and Barbara’s mom, Jane Bess.

Jarrod Reeves
Jarrod has been with Outdoor Cap Company for 9
years serving in various roles, most recently as the Vice President of Brand
Development. Born and raised in Kansas, Jarrod is a diehard Jayhawks fan but
now considers Northwest Arkansas home.
He acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Management and Accounting from
Kansas Newman University.
Jarrod is very active in the community. He
serves on the Board of Directors for the Sunshine School & Development
Center and is co-chair of their signature event, the Sunshine Gala. Jarrod also
volunteers with the United Way of Northwest Arkansas. Not one to sit idle,
Jarrod enjoys travelling and exploring new locales around the world.

Philip Woodworth, MD
Philip Woodworth is a General Surgeon with Mercy
Health System. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and St. Louis University
School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Kansas
School of Medicine. He is board certified from the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Woodworth admits he has a paralyzing fear of
heights. Even so, he successfully dove off the Kawara Bridge in Queensland, New
Zealand attached to a dog leash and rubber band. Queensland is the birthplace
of modern-day bungie jumping, and he didn’t want to regret not taking the leap.
He also survived the Running of the Bulls in Pampalona, Spain, where he
discovered the key to the success is bringing a friend who is slower.
Dr. Woodworth and his wife, Mar, have one
daughter. They enjoy traveling. He models in memory of his grandmother, Laura
Sappington, who passed away from complications of breast cancer.
