Our Volunteer Program is a big part of what we do at Hope
Cancer Resources. Our volunteers are passionate, dedicated and professional.
They put their whole heart into supporting our mission in the many different
roles they play.
Hope Cancer Resources volunteers have the opportunity to
serve in several locations including our office in Springdale, Highlands
Oncology Group in Fayetteville and Rogers, and Landmark Cancer Center in
Rogers. We have many opportunities to be involved.
Administrative
The main role of administrative volunteers is to assist
the office staff with operational tasks. These tasks may include manning the
phones, filing, assisting with special projects and more.
Clinic
Clinic volunteers provide support in local oncology
clinics. Their responsibilities include working in the chemotherapy suites,
imaging department and/or reception areas. Clinic volunteers often get the
opportunity to connect with some of the amazing patients we serve.
Special Events
Special events volunteers play a huge role in making our
events successful. Our two main annual events are the Heather Ridley Fleeman
Battle for Hope 10K/5K run and walk, and the Bill Fleeman Gentlemen of
Distinction Gala. These volunteers have many roles to choose from in their
support of our special events.
