Registration for the 15th Annual Heather Ridley-Fleeman
Battle for Hope is officially open!
Battle for Hope – Bentonville’s longest-running race –
began in 2005 as a way to honor the life of Heather Ridley-Fleeman and raise
awareness of colon cancer. Heather passed away in 2004 at the young age of 28
after a long battle with colon cancer. The following year, Heather's family and
friends partnered with Hope Cancer Resources to help ensure cancer patients
have access to the care they need during treatment and to educate individuals
about the importance of early detection.
Battle for Hope includes a 10k and 5k run, 5k walk,
awards ceremony and prize drawings. Your participation helps us continue our
mission of providing cancer support and education in the Northwest Arkansas
area today and tomorrow. All proceeds from the event go directly to our patient
support and community education programs.
There are several ways you can participate in this year’s
Battle for Hope that will take place Saturday, May 4 at Old Tiger Field in
Bentonville. You can run the 10k or 5k or walk the 5k. Start or join a team for
even more fun! If you prefer being a behind-the-scenes participant, we’d love
to have you as a volunteer. Lastly, if you’re interested in giving even more to
the cancer patients we serve while promoting your brand, consider becoming a
sponsor.
Register now to take advantage of our early bird prices.
Early registration closes April 5 at midnight.
