Cancer Survivor Month Article Banner_opt.jpg

There are currently nearly 17 million cancer survivors in the United States (National Cancer Institute). Representing five percent of the total population, the number of cancer survivors in the nation is growing more and more every year.

Survivor Quote_opt.jpgA survivor is someone who has cancer, from the time of diagnosis through the rest of his or her life. Hope Cancer Resources is here to meet with survivors wherever they are in their journey. We provide compassion and support to anyone who has been touched by cancer from the moment they receive a cancer diagnosis to the moment they are no longer in need of our services, regardless of the length of time that may take.

We provide a variety of services to cancer survivors, caregivers and their families. We offer emotional support when coping with a diagnosis becomes overwhelming. We offer nine support groups that provide patients with the opportunity to connect with others who can better understand what they’re going through. We offer free transportation to and from cancer-related appointments when patients are unable to drive themselves. We offer a Spanish interpreter to help eliminate language barriers. We also offer personal training sessions with a certified personal trainer. All of our services are free of cost.

Living with cancer can be tough. That’s why we’re here to provide support for the journey and education for life.
